How does Feedback Poker work?

The team uses special feedback cards that address various aspects of collaboration and soft skills.

In a moderated session, each team member gives open feedback on specific behaviors.

The rules of the game ensure that feedback is given in a structured, respectful and concrete manner, which reduces inhibitions and increases acceptance.

The story of Lisa / Marketing Manager

To all the leaders, I absolutely have to tell you about this amazing experience we had with Feedback Poker. We played the game and each of us was dealt cards with different personality traits.

It was a Friday when we gathered for a game of Feedback Poker. I was excited to see what awaited me. Despite my initial reservations, a pleasant, friendly atmosphere was created.

Anna, known for her "strong opinions," received feedback from Tom that she could be more diplomatic. This really got her thinking. She realized that while she expressed her opinions clearly and concisely, she could sometimes be a bit more empathetic. The feedback helped her rethink her communication style and express her opinions in a more diplomatic way. This has really helped resolve conflicts within the team more quickly and harmoniously.

Tom, who was often perceived as having a "quiet personality," received feedback that he was inspiring. This surprised him, as he hadn't expected his calm demeanor to motivate others. This feedback showed him that he could use his calm communication style to inspire and motivate the team. Since then, he has consciously used his strength to motivate the team and strengthen team cohesion.

And then there's me. I received feedback that I'm inspiring. That really got me thinking. I realized that my approach to things and motivating others really has a positive impact on the team. The feedback encouraged me to continue being inspiring and to do my best to move the team forward.

Through the Feedback Poker game, we all gained valuable insights about ourselves. Anna learned to be more diplomatic, Tom realized he could inspire others, and I learned that my approach to things was perceived positively.

The experience with Feedback Poker has truly strengthened our team. We now understand each other better and can leverage our strengths more effectively. It has helped us collaborate more effectively and resolve conflicts more quickly. I am so grateful for this experience and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to achieve better team dynamics. Feedback Poker is truly a game that has helped us develop and grow as a team.

Alex's Story – Change through Feedback Poker

Alex sometimes felt like a ghost in the office, his efforts seemingly disappearing into thin air. But then Feedback Poker came like a breath of fresh air into his team life! During the game, he received cards with praise like "creative" and "team player" – and they actually came from his colleagues!

The game boosted communication, and Alex realized his work was worth more than he thought. Through regular feedback, the team became a close-knit group. Alex was finally being heard, and his ideas were resonating.
